Dharma Primary School

CEOP helps any child or young person under the age of 18 who is being pressured, forced or tricked into taking part in sexual activity of any kind. You can visit the CEOP Safety Centre for information and advice and make a report directly to CEOP.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

All positions within the school require an Enhanced DBS.

We are particularly seeking Governors with experience in fundraisingeducation and estate management but would welcome Governors with expertise in other areas. We are seeking two Governors to join our board of trustees.

Essential skills include the ability to work as part of team, a commitment to ‘collective responsibility’ and the ability to think strategically.  Other skills such as finance, legal, HR and general business skills would be valuable additions.

There is an approximate time commitment of six board meetings per year.

Our school Governors provide an external perspective and an ability to challenge assumptions and look for solutions. You will bring enthusiasm and experience from other areas of life and work together as a well-balanced group of people to support the Head Teacher and staff to drive the school forward.

If you have an interest in Buddhism, a passion for education and would like to contribute to the growth of the school and its strategic direction, please contact us.
