Jeanette Adair – Chair
Jeannette Adair has had a long-term interest in the Dharma Primary School based on contact with parents, staff and her Buddhist practice. She served as a member of the Board of Trustees for some years in the capacity of Secretary and later as Chairperson. She has trained as a Classical Homeopath and practised for several years in Brighton. Previously she worked for 25 years in international community development and education in both Asia and Africa.
Amelia Seeto – Trustee
Before moving to the UK, Amelia managed communications for the United Nations Association of Australia and for various disability charities. Amelia volunteered for the Buddhist Council of New South Wales for ten years and has a Master’s in Strategic Public Relations. She currently works in London as Head of Communications and Marketing for Big Issue Invest, the social investment arm of The Big Issue. Amelia has been to India on two pilgrimages.
Duncan Gilbert – Parent Trustee
Duncan is a Parent Trustee with two children currently attending the Dharma Primary School. His interest in Buddhism stems in part from several trips to Nepal and Tibet, including six months working in Nepal at the Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital in 2005. He is currently a consultant oncologist in Sussex.
