Primary Admissions

We are a small primary school based on Buddhist values open to boys and girls of different backgrounds, beliefs or abilities..

Visiting the School

Following your initial enquiry parents are invited to visit the school with or without their children. This may be on one of our Open Mornings held periodically throughout the year.

The Open Morning includes the opportunity to talk to the head teacher, pupils and parents and a tour of the school.

Alternatively you are very welcome to arrange a private visit through the office and we will arrange for a tour of the school with the opportunity to talk with the Head teacher or teacher of relevant year group.

Applying for a place

When you have decided to apply for a place we ask that you  submit a Registration form.  These can be downloaded from our website or you may contact the school office and we will send you the form by post or e-mail.

On receipt of this form we will contact you to inform you via email or phone to discuss if there is a place available.  If there is no place you will be invited to go on our waiting list. Please note that submission of a registration form months in advance is no guarantee of a place, due to the changing nature of our school community and our admission criteria.

When your child is considered for a place in the school, you will be invited to attend an interview with your child’s prospective teacher.

Once your child is offered a place they will be invited to attend a taster day.

Please read full details of our admission procedures in our Admissions Policy.
