AT OUR SUMMER FAYRE ON SATURDAY 22 JUNE!
Join us between 11am and 3.30pm, for a host of school fayre favourites including a raffle and tombola, a selection of stalls, children’s activities and magnificent cakes and refreshments, along with two unique Silent Auctions where you can bid for an inspiring range of artwork, gifts and services. At last year’s auctions, winning bids ranged from £7.50 to several hundred pounds, so there will be something to suit all tastes and pockets. And if the excitement of bidding for bargains gets too much, take a moment to reflect in our Mindfulness Space, where you can sample activities that give a brief insight into the unique ethos of our school, the only primary school in Europe to offer an education based on Buddhist principles.

Silent Auction (ART)
Bid for an eclectic mix of artwork (including paintings, prints and sculpture) from local, national and international artists such as Mary Ruggeri (an acclaimed Royal Academist whose work has been sold and exhibited by Saatchi), Sussex-based artist and bibliophile Ella Berthoud (who has painted murals for the BBC and private residences and is currently exhibiting at the Royal Academy) and Gary Goodman (an internationally renowned Sussex-based visual artist and poet who has exhibited alongside world-renowned artists including Billy Childish, Paul Rego and the Chapman Brothers). Silent Auction (GIFTS & SERVICES)
Bid for a host of exciting opportunities including VIP packages to local attractions, one-to-one sessions with professional experts (from accountants to homeopaths!) and unique one-off opportunities such as a recording studio session (eight hours, with a sound engineer), a speed-boating trip along the Thames, a Real Madrid football signed by Cristiano Ronaldo, and a made-to-measure bra by “Her Majesty the Queen’s bra maker”. Mindfulness Space
Take a moment to reflect: Visit our Mindfulness Space for children’s yoga, short meditations, a mindful eating zone and talks on “Compassionate Parenting” and “Life at The Dharma Primary School” by our Head Teacher, Peter Murdock. Full details and timetable of events will follow shortly.
